Please do NOT put our postcode into your sat nav. It will take you to a nearby Industrial Estate, please see below for instructions.
Our full postal address is:-
Seahaven Maritime Academy Ltd
East Quay
Newhaven Port
Newhaven
East Sussex
BN9 0BN
Please read the following CAREFULLY to ensure you use the correct entrance:-
1) If You Are Travelling By Car
You must use the entrance via McKinley Way to GATE 4. This entrance is a staffed security barrier entrance that is open 24/7. Once through the security gate we are by the yellow crash barriers on the first bend. SEE MAP FOR PICTURES OF GATE
2) If You Are Walking, Cycling or Scooting
You must use the EAST QUAY entrance on Beach Road, Newhaven, BN9 0BX. This entrance is staffed from 6am to 6pm. At weekends or outside these hours you will need to ring the security buzzer to gain entry as it is remotely staffed. There is NO vehicle entry at weekends, ONLY pedestrians and cyclists etc. SEE MAP FOR DIRECTIONS FROM PORT ENTRANCE
3) If You Are Travelling By Train
There are 2 stops available to you, namely Newhaven Town and Newhaven Harbour (please check your timetable for options). Please follow the Instructions for walking above as you will need to use the EAST QUAY entrance on Beach Road, BN9 0BX.
4) By Air
The closest airport is London Gatwick. Trains run every 30 minutes and the journey takes less than an hour with 1 change needed at Lewes. We do NOT recommend flying in on the morning of your course as delays can mean you wont arrive until after the course has started and may be refused training.
