No, the price you pay is just for training. We do not provide food. However, tea, coffee and water are provided all day.
There are two food vans which visit the site, one at around 8.20am and one at around 11.30am. These food vans have a selection of sandwiches, snacks, hot pies and accept both cash and cards.
There are plenty of Supermarkets and take-akway food establishments nearby where you can pick up supplies in preparation.

Please come dressed comfortably for learning. There are lots of practical sessions and all the equipment for these is provided.
However, we would ask that you wear leggings or tracksuit bottoms or shorts for the Fire Fighting days on Wednesday and Thursday as denim is too restrictive under the fire training kit.
You will also need to bring Swimwear, a t-shirt and a towel for the pool session on Friday.
Yes, there is car parking just outside the centre.
No. You do not need an ENG do the courses at Seahaven. You will need your ENG 1 before you start work.
We would ask that you do not schedule any ENG1 medicals whilst you are training with us as you won’t have time to attend.
You will be assessed in a variety of ways during your time with us. At the end of each module there is a multiple-choice test to do which you will complete on your own mobile phone.
The tests are not there to trick you, and if you need any help or extra time or have any other needs, please let us know in advance and we can make arrangements.
No. All the activities in the pool will be completed wearing a life jacket. If you are a weak swimmer or a non-swimmer, please do let our instructor know. You will be well looked after.
YES! You will leave with an MCA approved, stamped, laminated and embossed certificate on Friday afternoon. You will need to take this certificate with you for working onboard a vessel.
Seahaven Maritime Academy is a purpose built, full training centre in the port of Newhaven, East Sussex. It is run entirely by professional mariners for professional mariners.
